The Company:
Access Credit Union strives to be an employer of choice in Southern Manitoba with 17 branches, 260 employees and $1.850 billion in assets under administration.
The Challenge:
Access Credit Union had Legacy non-serviceable Nortel phone systems in every branch. The systems were starting to fail and service and spare parts were becoming a significant issue. The IT department at Access Credit Union wanted one unified communication solution to network all sites and be able to manage the entire communication system and advanced features from head office.
Customer Needs:
Simplify and integrate communications to help staff in multiple branches offer personalized and prompt financial services to customers.
Results:
Telexperts completed the project and networked 11 locations while coordinating with Access Credit Union’s IT Department.
Over 300 users are seamlessly networked and over 80% of the users are using the Mitel UC Advanced presence tool. The call center at the Winkler branch handles all customer inquiries and can move calls throughout the organization.
Access Credit Union is fully trained from both a user and administration perspective and is self sufficient in managing all the day to day moves, adds, changes.
